Here's a little video that Pretty boy Paul made of a little trip we took recently to visit BPMW and Best showroom in Downtown LA. It also shows off a little footage of my trip to the Box 8 art gallery in preparation for one of the group shows that Ray and I were a part of as Chule.

This was a project that Ray and I finished recently as Chule. We have been toying around with the idea of self portraits for a while, and when given the opportunity to do it we kinda jumped at it. They were pretty fun to work on, and to be honest I was a bit skeptical on if they would be done in time, but Ray really pulled through in the last stretch. I hope you like them, I can't wait for out next show.

So Ray and I are at it again with our art crew "chule" we are showing over at a group show over at box eight, this should be pretty cool. It'll be especially good if the let Ray and I have our way and do a little live art for you all. Show up, its going to be fun.

All I have to say is that they guys over at Joy Engine are pretty awesome. I was perusing around the interweb as I usually do every morning to stumble upon this tidbit of awesomeness! This hasn't been the first time Ray and myself as Chule has been put up on this site, but honestly its a fantastic feeling everytime we are. Todd Berger of the Joy Engine clan has been a massive supporter of us, and I really want to thank him for being an appreciater as well as an advocate of us!

Well, lemme first say that I didn't take this picture, this was taken by a friend of mine named Laura Taylor and you can check out her stuff here. Its pretty rad and I am expecting big things from her. Anyway back to this picture, its of my current favorite person right now Kristen!, she hook it up for me recently in a big way! She's putting together an art show over at Barracuda in L.A. originally I think she approached me to put in some photos, but to be honest with you, I wasn't really into that idea, for various reasons. If you see me around sometime, ask me about it if you are wondering, but I don't really wanna
waste the space writing about it here.
Anyway, we talked a little bit, and I told here about a new little endeavor I had called chule and believe it or not, she went for it. Chule is a painting collaboration between myself and my friend Ray (ring boi) Young Chu. Here is an example of one of our paintings. I hope people like them. I can't believe how fast this is all coming together. Anyway Kristen was rad enough to take a chance and let Ray and I exhitbit. We are part of her group show over at Barracuda called All is Well. Hopefully you can make it out this friday, it should be pretty cool.

So I am pretty late on putting this up on the web, but I guess this is one of those better late than never scenarios. My buddy Ray Young Chu and I have started collaborating on some paintings together under the name Chule. This I guess I really the first thing that I have said about it here and I'm sure its going to be way more frequent. Anyway, my buddy Travis from the Gym Class Heroes hit me up and asked me if I would wanna have something over at his art show at Gallery 1988. So I said sure, and then he gave me a dead line of two days to throw something together. So here are some pics of the piece and of the night sort of, I'm kind of feeling lazy today so I stole these pics from Triumvir's website. It was a pretty star studded event, you can take a look at some of the craziness here on gallery 1988 's website.
