Since the revival of "The Crucible" I decided to bring out some early pics that I shot with the first version of this contraption. This was a shoot that my buddy James Kyson Lee had set up for me with his friend, Erin Cahill. I won't go into detail about what Erin does and who she is and all that, thats what google and wikipedia is for, internet creeping is something I know we all participate in.
Erin was a really good sport to come down all the way to the OC for this. She really made my day, as well as the shoot! There is really too much of this hurry up and wait stuff going on with shoots. Being that I have some pretty fond memories of this one, I can't believe that I never did a post on it.... sheesh, I really need to get my act together. One of these days I'll get all caught up with all of this little gems that i've shot along the way. Erin if you are reading this, sorry I am so lame, we need to kick it sometime. One of these days my trigger finger is gonna be broke, and then I'll be able to take it easy for a while.

Today I had a photo shoot with DGK and Reebok Skater Stevie Williams for Skullcandy. Stevie was ridiculously nice and his dad who was at the shoot as well as really cool. I was really happy about the turn out, and I was really happy that it was on the street as opposed to the studio. I have been shooting a ton of in studio catalog stuff and it has really been bumming me out. So it was nice to be outside for the afternoon. It was cool to find out the Stevie was a fan of the show NBC Heroes, because my buddy James is on the show, I would have never thought he would be into it, but I thought that was pretty cool.

My pals over at Franco Shade and Dj's GMO and Dan Sena are putting on a pretty sweet Halloween Party over at the Detroit bar in Costa Mesa. I usually don't make it out to alot of stuff, but there are too many good things happening at this one, and I know way too many people working on this one to miss out. GMO and Dan have a regular night over at the Detroit called Busy Work, which is actually a pretty good night, tons of rad people go, and they have some pretty awesome bands come through and play. Earlier this month it was their night that Datarock came to play, and I also saw Har Mar Superstar and Modrocket play there after a RVCA party that they played.

I'm pretty excited that this Saturday I'll be able to attend the San Diego Comic Con. Comic con is really one of my favorite things I attend each year. I always end up spending too much money buying random things from there.

Anyway while ago I shot actor James Kyson Lee for Altra Magazine who invited me out to see him and the cast of Heroes do a guest panel and see a few sneak peeks of season two of the show at the con. James was a really great sport during the shoot, we had a really long day but I think we really walked with a great product. I really have to thank RVCA , paul frank , creative recreation , torsion , and endovanera for coming through for me last minute and suppling the wardrobe for this one.





















I really dug this series of photos so much I actually worked on a special comic book cover version of one of the photos with Hagimoomoo a friend of mine that I work on various projects with. So any way I really hope I don't end up spending as much money as I usually do at the comic con, because I don't really think my wallet can handle it.
